The St. Petersburg Digital Forum is an event for direct dialogue of all participants in the digital economy, not only on the scale of St. Petersburg, but also in determining the integration of the economies of regions and cities in the digital economy of the state.
This international forum, organized by the government of St. Petersburg, will be held at the Expoforum Exhibition Center from 29 to 30 on August 2019.
The organizers set themselves the task of gathering on-site business leaders, representatives of industrial, educational, banking and other industries in order to come to an understanding that the Digital Economy is not just innovative technologies, not just transferring enterprises to each other in a new format, not simply replacing human resources with software. This is primarily a transformation of mentality and a change in consciousness.
The very principle of building a business undergoes a change, new formats, trends, industries, areas of involvement and development arise, which are possible due to not so much new technologies as readiness for an efficient and rapid transformation.
Forum participants will be the heads of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, and the leaders of the regions of Russia. Also, the leaders of the largest Russian TNCs will participate in the business program: VTB, Sberbank, United Aircraft Corporation, Severstal, Yandex, Rusnano, Rostec, Rostelecom, Rosatom.
Within the framework of the forum, an exhibition will be held, compiled by such thematic blocks as the zone of cultural innovations, start-ups and innovations, the zone of robotics, virtual reality and entertainment, the zone of the digital city. Each zone will have its own program of events - contests, festivals and master classes.
