First, a little history. The Wuling brand is still little known in the CIS. However, it has tremendous potential in our car market. Wuling is popular in its homeland, China and some other countries, as its main niche is affordable minibuses and roomy cars. But recently the company announced that it is going to expand its sales geography. It is in this connection that experts associate the fact that Wuling decided to go beyond the usual format and produce cars in other form factors.
And one more curious fact about Wuling: logos are painted in different colors for different markets. So, for the Celestial Empire, the nameplate is painted in red, but for export copies, the company badge is silver.
Now about the novelty itself. The pre-production sample was first shown at the Shanghai Motor Show in April this year. At the same time, his glasses were tinted so that it was impossible to see anything through them. Naturally, access to the salon was closed.
A month after the premiere, the manufacturing company published official photos of the already serial WulingXingchen. But even then the salon remained a secret. But now the journalists of the Chinese edition "Autohome" have finally managed to take photos of the crossover interior.
The design turned out to be surprisingly calm, without revolutionary solutions - a virtual dashboard, a multimedia system screen sliding out of the panel.
According to publicly available data, the new car will be powered by a 1,5-liter four-cylinder engine and have front-wheel drive only.
But the cost of the crossover can be judged based on the price data for Baojun 530 and Wuling Victory cars, since, apparently, Wuling Xingchen is built on the same base (again, according to the Ministry of Industry of the PRC).
Today, the cost of the Baojun 530 is 7800 yuan (about 798 thousand rubles), and the Wuling Victory minivan is 85 yuan (about 800 thousand rubles).
