European and Asian (including Russian) version Toyota Camry differed significantly from the version that was sold in North America. A new generation of Japanese cars will get a unified look.
Despite the rather schematic type of patent images, it is impossible to find differences from the American and Japanese versions of the sedan. The first time a new car was shown to the public in the US in February this year. In the summer, the Japanese version was released, which in previous generations was very different. But after its demonstration, it became obvious that the option for the internal market in design would completely repeat the American format. China and Russia did not become exceptions.
In the US market, the car is sold in versions with 2,5 l and 3,5-liter engines, power of 206 and 305 hp. In Japan, this car is equipped with a hybrid plant, folded from an electric motor (211 hp) and 2,5-liter engine, and in China is also sold a version with an 2-liter engine (169 hp). We have planned sales of all three modifications, except hybrid. The first receipts of the car on sale should be expected in the spring of next year.
