In November 2019, Ford announced the release of the new Bronco SUV. Then they reported that the show was scheduled for the spring of 2020, but now it became known that the public premiere of the mid-size SUV could take place from June 7 to 20 at the Detroit auto show. Now there is every reason to believe that the presentation will be postponed, and it will be even earlier.
Unlike its predecessor from the 60s, which was only with two doors, Bronco will be offered in both two- and four-door versions. The design will be framed - the chassis is taken from the pickup truck e Ranger. The latter is equipped with a 2,3 liter turbocharged engine with 270 hp and a 10 high-speed automatic transmission. In addition, in the future, the SUV will be offered in a hybrid modification, as was previously said by brand director Jim Hackett.
According to foreign publications, the Bronc SUV will cost about $ 30. Its sales will begin in late 2020 or early 2021. The main competitors of the car are Toyota 4Runner and Jeep Wrangler. Production will start at Ford's Michigan plant.
