Nissan's European division cares about its Qashqai just as much as Volkswagen does about its Golf. There is nothing surprising in this, because it is this creation of the famous auto giant that brings him a good profit. The numbers speak for themselves - since 2007 the company has sold more than 3 million compact crossovers. And this, we clarify, is only in Europe! With this in mind, Nissan's decision to update the Qashqai was expected.
The project was completed on time, and as a result, the carmaker presented to its fans a car with familiar proportions, but a more modern fashionable design with an emphasis on angularity. The "fresh" Qashqai boasts a larger grille, complemented by ultra-slim LED matrix headlights. In addition, the manufacturer decided to increase the wheels to 20 inches. Qashqai will enter the market in 11 color options, not counting five options for combinations of two shades.
It's no secret that the CMF-C platform became the basis for this car. This modular development was created by the Renault and Nissan alliance. She gifted Qashqai with aluminum fenders, side doors and a bonnet. This allowed the developers to make the car much lighter (by as much as 60 kg compared to its predecessor). At the same time, the rigidity of the model did not suffer, on the contrary, it increased by 41%.
The Qashqai's interior does not disappoint. Changed quite radically, it conquers with its comfort and spaciousness. There is also a place for digital innovation. Owners of this car will be able to entertain themselves using the 9-inch Nissan Connect, a "tablet" with the Car Play protocol from Appl. This gadget supports Google and Amazon assistants. As for the heart of the Qashqai, it is quite interesting - gasoline, complemented by a hybrid makeweight and super-technology e-Power.
