Auto concern Lexus has presented a new brainchild - the NX model, a representative of the second generation of popular hatchbacks. For the brand, this car was the first plug-in hybrid. A unique modification allows the car to cover as much as 63 km on a single charge.
The novelty looks like its predecessor. However, its design has become more dynamic and sophisticated at the same time. It is distinguished from the old model by its increased dimensions: + 20 mm. to the length and width, + 15 mm. to the height. The wheelbase was not left unchanged (as much as 30 mm was added). In terms of details, one cannot fail to notice the updated grille. Upright, it has an elegant, slim bezel.
This is a great addition to the voluminous body, long hood. Lexus also decided to abandon the previous version of the grille due to the need to improve aerodynamics. This was achieved, among other things, due to a new method of installing this structural element. Other design cues that have improved the NX's performance at the same time include wider front and rear tracks, short overhang and large wheel arches. They make the car more maneuverable.
The rear of the new Lexus looks no less attractive than the front. Here you can see a wide crosspiece connecting the cute L-shaped combination lanterns. As for the standard logo of the brand, they decided to replace it with the text name of the company. Placed it traditionally on the tailgate.
The interior space looks laconic, as simple as possible. There is nothing here that could distract the driver from the road.
They created the Lexus NX based on the NX Global Architecture K (GA-K), which was once used in the construction of Toyota's RAV4. This platform guarantees good handling.
